 Course Commissioning postponed !

There have been some setbacks in the course construction schedule, and the commissioning date has been set back until late August, or early September - dates TBA.

This information will be posted and circulated as soon as it is available.

 Work on the features continues, and the schedule for completion of these is June 15. After that date the work will commence on the course channel, starting at the upstream end of the course.

During the last weeks of June and the first weeks of July there will be lots of work to do at the site, and volunteers are needed !

During this time the shaping of the channel will occur. As well there are a number of other volunteer tasks that are required. Please contact the River Projects Coordinator at the address above if you can help out in any way.

Feature Photos are posted below - showing the concrete formwork that has been finished to date. The features should be completed by the middle to end of June, at which time the work on the channel will begin. The course will be rip-rapped and poured with concrete starting at the top, and connecting one feature to the next. The latest course plan is to the left.
