WKABC Membership Policy

The WKABC will endeavor to gain membership by developing, encouraging, and supporting, a quality network of clubs that provide unique services to their members, to the paddling community at large, and to WKABC members.

Club Membership & Funding

To qualify as a recognized member club of the WKABC, each club must possess no less than 10 WKABC members.

The club must also submit the required Club Membership Fee - which is set each year at our AGM, and is presently $50.

Any member club will be eligible for program funding based on the number of their members who join the WKABC. Funding will be distributed by the executive on a case-by-case basis, where a written submission has been made to the executive.

The criteria used to evaluate these requests will be based on available funds, how many WKABC members the initiative will service, whether the activities fit into the aims of providing safe, quality programs etc.
