    Club Leadership Incentives:

The WKABC will waive the fees for up to three WKABC Leadership Courses (Basic Instructor, River Instructor, Advanced River Instructor, Trip Leader, River Leader or WKABC River Safety and Rescue course) based on the club's membership numbers and the club's location (See below for qualifying info).

These grants must be used in the year that they were qualified for, and will not be carried over from one year to the next. Thus, a club of 90 or more members in the Southwest Region will be eligible for up to three individuals attending a leadership course in that year, whereas if the club is in the North and East Region, they will only need 45 members to qualify for the same number of leadership grants.

These Leadership Grants are subject to the availability of courses which are financially viable (courses with sufficient registrations to run with paying candidates).

Qualifying number for 1 leadership course grant:

Southwest Region - Zones 3, 4, 5, 6 (Vancouver Island, Vancouver, Lower Mainland, Howe Sound, Whistler, Hope, etc) 30 members

North and West Region - Zones 1, 2, 7, 8, (Northern BC, Kootenays, Okanagan) 15 members
