Evaluation:
- paddling skill evaluation on Class III - IV whitewater
- 20-minute theory presentation
- 15 minute practical presentation
- Written exam - as method of ensuring material is covered

Pre-requisites:
- Certified as River Instructor
- WKABC Member
- Current FA & CPR
- River Instructor Certification
- Class IV paddling skills

Certification: Nationally recognized through Whitewater Canada, the governing body for kayaking. The certification is for 3 years, and is for people who wish to provide paddling instruction on higher-end whitewater (Class III-IV).
